The Birthday Makeup Edit

The Birthday Makeup Edit Close Up 1
The Birthday Makeup Edit Flatlay
It´s my birthday on the 7th of April, and guess what day it is tomorrow? Exactly, my birthday :) I´m really excited to turn 17 and be one step closer to being full age and being able to do a lot of fun stuff (I´m thinking about going clubbing until the morning hours, haha)
As tomorrow is just a normal school day for me I´ll keep my makeup for the day really minimal and go for my normal routine which consists of a bit concealer, mascara and doing my eyebrows.
For the late afternoon I´ll refresh my whole look a bit and add some eyeshadow, highlighter, blush and lipstick.
I´ve listed the products I used below :)

My plan was to apply my normal daily makeup in the morning, and as soon as I come home I´ll take everything off and do it again, haha :)

To give my face a little coverage I still stick to my loved glowy BB cream, the The Body Shop All-In-One BB cream (14€). It gives enough coverage to make my skin look even and nice and also adds a light hint of bronzey colour and glow.
To cover any dark circles I take the Maybelline The Eraser Concealer in Light (13€) and apply it in a triangle shade, which goes down to my nose and then up to the outer corner of my eye. It covers my under eye area really good, is lovely to blend and the shade Light is perfect for my very pale skin tone.
To blend the cream and the concealer I firstly use my Real Techniques Buffing Brush (25€) and then my damp Miracle Complexion Sponge (6€) to blend any creases that I couldn´t quite get rid off with the brush.
To set everything I like to use my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder in Light Plus (32€). I really love this product as it adds even a bit more coverage and makes my skin look even better and photo ready :)
To apply that product to my T-Zone I use a huge fluffy brush I got from my local drugstore and to particulary set the concealer I use the Real Techniques Contour Brush (25€) and lightly pat it in.
I´m a huge fan of glowy skin so highlighter is a total must-have for me!
I like to combine two cream highlighter, one is the highlighter side of the NYX Wonderstick in Universal (12€), it is sooo glowy I still can´t believe how pigmented it is and how natural the glow looks, and the second highlighter I like to put on top is the KIKO Radiant Highlighter stick in Gold (8,50€), this one is a really champagney colour with a slight but not unreal looking hint of glitter. Both are lovely to blend in with my sponge and add a nice looking glow to my cheekbones and cupid bows.
Lately I´ve also been absolutey loving blushers. My auntie was kind enough to give me this L´Oreal Le Blush in 160 Peach (10€), it´s a really beautiful peachy/orangey shade with a slight hint of glitter. This blush is really pigmented so you have to have a light hand while applying it and also the lasting power is amazing.

To fill in my brows, that need a serious threading session, and make them look as good as they possibly can, I still use my NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Taupe (10€), it´s the perfect shade, has a kinda waxy texture and really pigmented. Applied with a light hand it can look really natural.
As I said before I will most likey go for a nudey/pinky/glittery eyeshadow look. As a base I will apply the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk (5€). That way I have a even white base, which makes the eyeshadow shade pop and be even more visible and prevent it from creasing.
One of my very first eyeshadows that I still really enjoy using is MAC´s "All That Glitters" (13€).
In my eyes it´s the most beautiful pink shade, it is really pigmented but still really good to use everyday and the texture is really buttery and really good to blend. I like to create a kinda nude smokey eye look with it :)
I´ve been still using the same mascara as I have been for the last month or so, the Astor Big & Beautiful Style Mouse Mascara (8€). After curling my lashes I go through my lashes with this mascara and it gives me soo much volume, not length though but if I feel like I want really long lashes that day I apply the Benefit RollerLash Mascara before and I´m good to go :)
To finish of the whole look I reach for the P2 Miss Perfect Lip Chubby in "Laura" (3,50€). I only just noticed that this lipstick has the same name as me so I will just assume that we were meant to be together. Also because I just love everything about it, the texture is really soft and glides on very nicely, the finish is matte but doesn´t look too drying, the colour is the most beautiful shade ever I would describe it as a pinky nude shade with a hint of grey or brown undertone in it when it has dried down to it´s matte finish, and the size it comes in is really handy to hold, keep in your handbag or even in your wallet.
All in one I´m head over heels in love with this lip product.

When is your birthday?
What do you use to transform your daily makeup look into a evening/posher look?
