Manhattan Contouring Kit* || Review & Swatches

*Post contains PR sample

How much time has passed since my last review? Way too long if you ask me, so it happens that me being lucky enough to get the opportunity to review the Manhattan Contouring Kit* fits just right in this blog´s schedule, haha.

Over the last month I´ve been wearing this powder triple, and at the beginning I had really high hopes as one of my absolute favourite blushers is from Manhattan and so I hoped to find a new favourite in this contouring kit.

Packaging

As you can see you get all three powders in one handy packaging.
With the lid being see through and labeled you can see right away what you get in this palette and also because of it´s small size it´s travel friendly and will most likely come with me on holidays.

Colour Range

This contouring kit is available in 2 shades. The first one is called St. Tropez Glow and the other one is called Summer in Barbados. Really cute names if you ask me which makes you feel like going on holidays immediatly.
I got sent the kit in the shade Summer in Barbados, which contains really warm coloured powders. The blush is a berry pink tone with golden shimmer in it, I would describe the contour shade as a caramel toned, so really orange toned but if you´re pale as me it works really well as bronzer, and the highlighting shade is also a warm champagne-y shade.

Pigmentation

All powders have a different way to get the full pigmentation out of them, some you have to tap into, some swirl in them, or swipe through them. This one is definitely a swipe one and oh my god my high hopes where filled. The pigmentation is absolutely amazing. All of them look really love on pale skin but this highlighter shade just gives the most loveliest and natural "sun-kissed" glow.

Lasting Power

Hm, the lasting power. Since this powder is described to be ultra light and I think that´s why the lasting power is not the best. It´s good no worries, it lasts on me until about noon but I do would like something that lasts maybe a bit longer.
All in one I´m happy with it though.

Usage

As I said before, you have to swipe through these powders to get the full effect and then they really easily apply fully onto the skin. With the right brushes they are also easy to blend in and look natural on my skin. With the contouring shade I do have to be a bit more careful as it is quite orange toned but carefully blending not too much of it, it works really well for me.

Buy or Not?

For only 7,50€ you can´t really go wrong with it. With the two shades available you will definitely like one that will work well with your skin shade.
And now that the summer is coming up and a lot of us are going away for holidays into really hot weather this kit is handy and fits into every hand- or travelbag and will give you a sun kissed look onto your already tanned skin.
Definitely a win from me :)
