When I´m on the hunt for a new makeup product, I don´t only look for products I´ve read about or just generally need, but if something has an eye-catching packaging I´ll probably be one of the first people who will stop by and have a closer look at the product.
High End Products are most of the times known for their luxurious packaging, Charlotte Tilbury or Hourglass for example, but the drugstore brands have gone off and up´d their package level aswell.
Everything metallic/rosé golden/rosé/copper toned things gets my attention everytime
On the top of this list is most definitely Sleek with their golden metallic Highlighting Palettes, making the product itself look very luxurious. Same goes to the Zoeva Rosé Golden Brush Range, it includes every brush they offer generally just in rosé gold shade for the same price as the standard range, how fab!
KIKO and their Limited Edition Lipsticks always win me over! My absolute favourite packaging had the lipstick from their Rebel Romantic Range, not only is the pigmentation and colour a dream but look at this fabulous rosé golden metallic packaging! Another favourite LE lipstick is from their current Matte For You Range, a simple silver cap with lovely love-themed words written all over it.
Continuing with lipsticks I switch over to copper shades, the Maybelline Colour Sensationals are done pretty simple and each cap shows exactly what lipstick shade can be found inside, this simple design makes it really cute and also really helpful to find the lipstick I´m searching for.
Also from Maybelline is the Lash Sensational Mascara, a shiny rosé packaging holds one of my favourite mascaras and also a wonderful blogging prop!
Metallic packaging is my absolute favourite kind, but there are also some more colourful or detailed ones that I also very loved.
For once the The Body Shop Honey Bronzer, a small handy round powder kept in a plastic brown pot that shines golden like a honeycomb when held into the light, really cute idea as it definitely fits with the name of the powder.
Coming back to KIKO, I also really loved their Holiday collection! The red pot with the golden K´s engraved makes me instantly feel very festive.
Two colourful products from Maybelline is another Color Sensational Lipstick, this time in a bright pink shade and the The Falsies Push-Up Mascara, which you might have seen quite often in other blog pictures. The colourful metallic long tube really makes it stand out in the makeup aisle.
NYX is one of those brands that focus more on the quality of their products and keeping the packaging as simple as possible, which still got them a memo value. They have mostly black packaging but little details like the little bows you can see on the contouring powder and on the eyeshadow palette gives their products a cute look.
