7 Office Approved Eyeshadows

7 Office Approved Eyeshadows
One thing that is important while wearing eyeshadow to work is that it´s not too much, you don´t want to look like you´re gonna go to a party afterwards so a heavy smokey eye is definitely a no-go for me. I rather go for a natural look with loads of beige/nude/rosé shades.
With the colder months still being here it´s hard to drag myself sooner out of bed and actually put some more effort on my face, but I´ve searched together some eyeshadows that are easy to work with even in a half-asleep state.

Cream Eyeshadows

Cream Eyeshadow is probably the easiest to work with, simply dip your finger in and spread it all over your eyelid. With a stiffer brush I blend the edges and I´m good to go.
The drugstore offers lots of lovely cream eyeshadows, my favourites are the Maybelline Colour Tattoos, I´ve got two shades which I absolutely wearing as they´re so versatile and can be used all year round. The first shade is On and On Bronze, a really beautiful bronze shade as the name already reveals, haha. The other shade is Pomegranate, a gorgeous red/berry shade that is perfect for this time of the year and should make a pretty good combination with the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette.
Another brand that I really like for cream/stick eyeshadow is Astor with their Perfect Stay 24H Eyeshadow Pencil. I own the shade Chic Nude, which I like to use either as a base or on it´s own to even out my eyelids.

Powder Single Eyeshadows

Single Powder Eyeshadows is one of those things you can either spend an amount on or get it for only a few euros. I own a few from the drugstore but also some more high end which are also my favourites, nothing against drugstore eyeshadows but so far I only owned some that creased away quiet quickly even with eyeshadow primer. Two of those favourite high end single eyeshadows are from MAC, I once got an absolute bloggers favourite All That Glitters, I would say it´s a total cliché to get this shade at some point but how could you not? It´s the prettiest rosé gold shade with a golden shimmer in it, it definitely upgrades any boring makeup look instantly! The other shade is called Satin Taupe, and can also be worn by itself as it´s a kinda ashy grey/brown shade for a soft smokey eye.

Eyeshadow Palettes

If you have a bit more motivation and time to use more than one eyeshadow in the morning than the following two eyeshadow palettes will definitely bring a natural soft look on your eyes. The pricier version of these kinds of palettes is the Illamasqua Fantastic Eyeshadow Palette, the version I´ve got was sadly only made for the LF Beauty Advent Calendar, but Illamasqua has some other pretty shades aswell :) The texture of them all is absolutely lovely, really easy to blend and an amazing pigmentation. The shades that are in each palette fit together really nice so you only really need to use that one palette in the morning! A really similar drugstore version to this palette is the NYX Love in Paris Eyeshadow Palette in Merci Beaucoup holds 9 nude/brown shades that can either be worn as a natural daytime look or be smoked up for a spontaneous after work dinner :)

Which eyeshadows do you like to wear for work? And which texture works the best for you? Cream or Powder?
